Why did he continue fighting with him against Waller's agents in episode 5 when Joker blew up the bridge in the end of episode 4? How could batman completely dismiss that and still be fine with Joker's actions? I get it, Joker would help with Waller, but batman shouldn't team up with people who blow up bridges. I didn't feel like posting a new thread, so since we're discussing the ending here I want to ask a few questions:ġ) Is the game actual poster with batman on the gargoyle-joker's back a gimmick? Cuz it sure did get me, I was truly expecting this fight throughout the entire game and was underwhelmed it never happened, or have I missed something?Ģ) Why didn't batman just straight up go after Joker after episode 4 ending? Like yeah I understand that Joker was useful throughout the game, but he was still a part of The Pact and again while he did help, he was a criminal and batman sure did understand that he's dangerous. I am also very disappointed that there will never be a season 3. He is never convinced that he is wrong, even in the vigilante ending (which was great) he never understands why he can't kill whoever he wants if he feels they are evil. He wants John to get help, but knows how dangerous he is, he's been deadly since they first met. My Bruce is keeping an eye on her now but owes it to Lucius to help her. Gotham is still littered with crime, and multiple villains are just waiting to make their escape, with Waller likely planning something aswell. Sure John is a bit unhinged, but up until the funhouse scene in this episode, he never seemed anything more than someone caught in a venus fly-trap of crime, someone who could potentially be saved. But in Telltale's universe, it's hard to argue that Bruce Wayne, The Batman, didn't create the clown prince of crime. Did Batman create the Joker? Did the Joker create Batman or was it simply the world evening things out by giving us one after the other, a la dark versus light. For years of comic history, the question of who came first has always been as important as the chicken and the egg - or who created who. However, the journey that Telltale has taken for John and Bruce to get there is something truly brilliant. It's also the episode where Telltale is finally putting their cards on the table with John and yes, he's almost definitely going to become The Joker we all know in the final episode. What Ails You is the episode where you will set up your John Doe fully, and finally. Catwoman is dismissed very quickly this episode and never heard from again, Bane and Freeze are seemingly wrapped up and sent off to prison ( or more probable, Amanda Wallers' Suicide Squad centre), and we are left with just John and Harley on the loose. It's a rough first 20 minutes as The Enemy Within very obviously shifts its gears into setting up the finale with the characters it wants there, namely, John Doe. Yes, believe it or not, Bruce did escape that icy prison and thus can continue on to stop The Pact from simply taking Project LOTUS.
The previous episode of The Enemy Within, The Fractured Mask, ended with a poor cliffhanger that paid off as uneventfully as I could have predicted as The Enemy Within's penultimate episode kicked into gear.
